  2. What happened one April afternoon? it was very hot.
  3. Who was very tired? the man on the horse.
  4. Why was he very tired?He rode on the horse for a long distance and it was a very hot day.
  5. What did he see at a long distance? A bridge.
  6. What did he do? He slowed down.
  7. Whom did he see also? A company of soldiers.
  8. What were they doing? lifting up heavy logs and piling them up.
  9. Who was shouting and giving orders? their captain.
  10. What was he telling them again and again?Do it quickly.
  11. What could they not move? A very heavy log.
  12. What did they need? one more helping hand.
  13. Who watched all these?the man on the horse.
  14. What did he do? He got down from the horse and helped them to lift the log.
  15. What did one of the soldiers do?He shook hands with the horseman and thanked him.He also wanted to know his name.
  16. What did the horseman reply?
  17. "My parents call me George. My friends call me Washington. Others call me President."
  18. Why was the captain stood speechless? because he came to know the rider was none other than the American President and father of the country.
  19. What did Washington do? America was under British rule.
  20. He won independence from the British.
  21. How was he able to win Freedom?By his leadership qualities.
  22. What did he set for his countrymen and others? A very good example.
  23. What did he practice which he preached?
  24. "To be a man of action  and the leader should lead."
