1. What did Salim long for? a pet of his own.
2. How did he want his pet? To be different from others.
3. Who brought home a wonderful surprise? Salim's uncle.
4. What was the surprise? ""SPIKY"  . A brown puppy.
5. How was Spiky? He had  long, hanging ears and hair standing up in all directions.
6. How was the puppy? very unusual.
7. Did Salim see this kind of puppy anytime? No.
8. What did Spiky do when uncle put him down on the floor?
9. Circled Salim and started wagging his tail.
10.  What did Salim do? knelt down on the floor  and tried to catch him.
11. What did the puppy do? Rolled over and over and pulled at Salim's shoelace.
12. Why did Salim hug Spiky?  because he was certainly unusual, looked different and at last he found a perfect pet.

18. So "a" is an indefinite article.
19. I saw an elephant. Which one? African or Indian?Tall one or short one? Black one or grey one?
20. Nothing Specific here also.
21. So "An" meaning one. is also an indefinite article.
22. An is used in all nouns starting with vowels and with h silent or mute.
23. Which are those vowels? A E I O U  AND H SILENT OR MUTE.
24. Example. An ant, An egg, An ice-cream, An orange, An umbrella. An hour. An hotel  with h silent or mute. An hospital,
25. An honest person.A hospital is also used.
26. Remember if the word is pronounced with a "YU" sound use article A only.
27. Example: A university.  A unicorn.
28. A one day match.why? One pronounced as Won.
